The site is still not active, as I’m still struggling a bit with the content, and I’m already talking about an update, a mixed omen, that’s for sure.

But who knows, maybe someone will be able to enjoy how some things, including this site, develop or have developed, even if it’s only my future version, which can no longer remember all this directly.

The text adventure genre should actually be the main focus of this site, which is why the title plays with it a little. Unfortunately, I had this idea, including the realization, before I looked around a bit. (My enthusiasm for one thing likes to take over from time to time, I’ve already got used to that!)

It turned out that the text adventure genre is very well documented. Not that I could have contributed anything here, but the idea of writing about it was still an interesting one.

Nevertheless, doubts arose, which is why I didn’t put the site online. I kept looking in here and thinking about whether it would be right to put it live and whether I was prepared to invest into the work I had already put into it.

Now I’ve decided, partly because of the little personal overview I’ve already written, not to scrap the whole thing, but to redesign it a bit.

For this reason, this will be about my experiences with video games in general. Perhaps there will be a few anecdotes that will resonate here and there.

Another reason that I don’t want to hide, and you can see this in the design, is that I want to keep it simple. Far too much is complicated by technology and many other factors these days and at the moment I’m in a phase where it’s quite annoying and a bit tiring.

Maybe it’s supposed to be a little social media replacement, I’m not quite sure yet, but life is a journey after all, so why not adjust your path every now and then?
